16 FEBRUARY 2021 (TUESDAY) – BASANT PANCHAMI
Basant Panchami is an occasion to worship the Goddess of Knowledge “Maa Saraswati”. It marks the beginning of the Spring Season. At the same time, the Nation gears up for Holi, which comes exactly after 40 days. To mark the occasion there will be a virtual celebration, by offering flowers and sweets to “Goddess Saraswati”. A short assembly will be conducted to make it more meaningful. Students will understand the importance of Basant Panchami.

23 FEBRUARY 2021 (TUESDAY) – FLOWER & VEGGIE MAGIC
It is Spring time and flowers are in full bloom. Fresh juicy fruits and vegetables are seen all around us which make this season even more mesmerizing and bountiful. Students will get to enjoy colour printing with different fruits and vegetables. This helps them understand different textures and also learn how to print using their favourite fruit or vegetable.

Materials Required-
Print out of the sheet that will be shared on fliplearn, 2-3 ladyfinger and marigold flowers, for the printing activity, water colours, tissue or cloth to wipe hands.
26 FEBRUARY 2021 (TUESDAY) – SLICE & DICE
Keeping the Spring Season and the festive spirit alive, this activity is exciting as children get to slice and mix up their favourite fruits with a dash of salt. This fruit salad is a palette of different flavours and colours which adds more to the child’s cognitive sense.
